Scrabble Resolver FAQ
Quick answers for rack searches, blanks, board play, and dictionary choices.
How do I enter blank tiles?
Use a question mark or a space when you need a blank tile. Unscramble mode and Win mode accept up to two blanks in your rack, matching standard Scrabble and Words With Friends play.
What is the difference between Unscramble and Win?
Unscramble finds playable words from your letters. Win uses the board and your rack together, then ranks the strongest legal placements it can find.
Which dictionary should I choose?
Choose TWL06 for most US and Canada Scrabble play. Choose SOWPODS if you want the larger international word list used in many other English-language games.
Why is a move missing from the list?
The move must be legal for the current board, the selected dictionary, and the exact rack you entered. If one of those changes, the move list can change with it.
Can I use the resolver on mobile?
Yes. Unscramble mode is compact for quick rack checks, and Win mode keeps the rack, board, and move list accessible even on narrow screens.
Does this site save my rack or board?
Only if you leave “Remember my inputs on this device” turned on. Your recent board, rack, dictionary, and theme stay in your browser on this device and can be cleared at any time.
